Welcome
My name is Shelia Atwater. I currently teach General American History, Health/Consumer Ed. Survey, DORS, and Resource. My email is [email protected]. Please contact me if you have any questions.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my four grandchildren: Ryan, Reid, Addisyn, and Harley. I also like to read, garden, and travel. This summer, I found some new authors to follow/read. Unfortunately, I was unable to garden as usual this year, so I look forward to next year's garden plans. I was also able to meet some fellow gardeners whom I think I will enjoy working with over the next years. I didn't take any trips this year which was a bit of a disappointment, but look forward to a long weekend in Tennessee when time allows.

Late Work Policy (See IEP accommodation page).
*All work has a due date. It is best to meet these deadlines.
If a student is working on the assignment and just can't process and do the work by the due date, but the student is trying, then the assignment will not late. MAKE ARRANGEMENTS WITH ME.
Special education students in regular classes should abide by rules of that teacher--especially if differentiated instruction is being used. Those teachers should be aware of your accommodations, however, you can remind them of your needs. Be respectful, and you'll be respected. Talk to me if you need help receiving your accommodations or if you need to be reminded what they are.
